Ephemeral Metanoia

Song Suggestion: Man in the Mirror- Micheal Jackson

We all know life is short.

And we don’t know when our last breath will be taken away.

Time flies, and we don’t even notice…we keep growing older and older, and we just take life for granted, as we evolve into our future selves.

In the world today, there are approximately more than 7 billion people. And just like each and every one of those people, you have been given a special place; where possibilities are limitless, love is limitless, togetherness is limitless, new beginnings are limitless and so much more. Knowing that you were destined to be given an opportunity like this makes you special, and not to forget, the rest of the 7 billion people too.

Don’t get me wrong, there are many people who are suffering and dreading that they ever existed because of the harsh influences of today’s world, and to them there isn’t any value in the life that they have been given because there is nothing they can do to break from the shell of darkness and misery surrounding them. So hear me out…if you are one of those 7 billion people with many blessings in life despite the few on and off issues we may face at times, just know that you have a right to appreciate life!

What can I say, this world is so small, and that’s why we can’t save all the people in the shadows today. Because, when we go reach out out to somebody as individuals or large groups, another person or group comes around and does their magic spell and BOOM, once again that innocent person is mistreated, unloved and kept in the shadows.

But there you are, so precious. There you are, so loved. And there you are, with so many opportunities and guess what…our problems can’t even be compared to what some people go through.

So from today, appreciate your existence, and appreciate this life you have been given. Live out a metanoia- a journey of transformation or change to your heart, self, mind and way of life, to keep you constantly reminded to appreciate as you grow. And as you walk that journey, keep reminding yourself that you are living your life with full gratitude, and that your act of gratitude, will forever store a ‘light’ or spark of happiness in your heart that you conquered life’s challenges, and turned its turns to a straight path, leading you on a journey that you will never forget. And that’s it! Once you have appreciated life, your memories are forever, and life here on Earth will be worth it.

Just know that the ‘metanoia’ is ephemeral because as I said life is short. So while you are against the clock, work on appreciating every good thing in your life, every second of your days. That’s all I have to say…now you decide, when will you start appreciating life.
