Welcome to our first Collab with @iridescent.photo.blog/! We decided to dedicate Sundays for collabs with our fellow bloggers. This post is the first of many to come. This the second half of the interview with them. Check out the first half of our interview with iridescent using the link below:
Interview with the Ebullience Blog
- 𝓣𝓸 𝓪𝓷𝔂𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝔀𝓱𝓸 𝓲𝓼 𝓷𝓮𝔀 𝓽𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰, 𝓽𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓾𝓼 𝓪 𝓵𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓫𝓲𝓽 𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓾𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓿𝓮𝓼.
Vivian: I am a music addict. I play the piano, guitar, flute, GuZheng and vocals. I’m 16 and I love fashion, photography and just about anything creative. Currently I’m learning fashion design online and learning to make clothes.
Sairah: I’m also 16 and my hobbies include anything sports related, skincare, cooking, and reading. To be honest I just love anything creative.
2. 𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓭𝓸𝓮𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓼𝓽 𝓸𝓯? 𝓭𝓸𝓮𝓼 𝓲𝓽 𝓯𝓸𝓬𝓾𝓼 𝓸𝓷 𝓪𝓷𝔂 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓲𝓬𝓾𝓵𝓪𝓻 𝓽𝓸𝓹𝓲𝓬𝓼 𝓸𝓻 𝓭𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓭𝓪𝓫𝓫𝓵𝓮 𝓲𝓷 𝓪 𝓵𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓫𝓲𝓽 𝓸𝓯 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰?
Sairah: Our blog, IRIDESCENT, touches on every topic. We try to speak on topics that no one really talks about or talks enough about. We also provide advice to make your teenage lives easier. We have individual categories for topics such as fashion and photography, which is Vivian’s area of expertise. Topics like fitness and writing are my areas of expertise. We work on most of the categories together, since it’s something we both can talk about. Since there’s two of us, we are able to cover a lot of areas and talk about literally everything!

3. 𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓲𝓷𝓼𝓹𝓲𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓽𝓸 𝓬𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓪 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰? 𝓦𝓪𝓼 𝓲𝓽 𝓼𝓹𝓾𝓻 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓶𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓸𝓻 𝓭𝓲𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓶𝓹𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓲𝓽 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓪 𝓵𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮?
Sairah: Vivian was watching a lot of movies and YouTube videos and saw how fun it would be to create a blog where you can talk about anything and we needed to keep ourselves busy because we were at the midst of our GCSE preparation and the stress was really getting to us. She suggested it to me since it’s something that’s fun to do with your best friend. But as we were in the midst of preparing for our GCSEs, we didn’t have the much time to focus on it until this pandemic gave us a lot of free time to work on the blog. We made the blog account on the 2nd of May and made our Instagram on the 25th of May.
4. 𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝔀𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 𝓸𝓯 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓯𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓯𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓵𝔂 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓪 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰? 𝓦𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝔂 𝓼𝓾𝓻𝓹𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓮𝓭 𝓸𝓻 𝓭𝓲𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝔂 𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓱𝓪𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓬𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴?
Our families and friends don’t know about the blog. We wanted to keep it a secret, something that would be a our own little project . Keeping it a secret makes it even more special to us.
5. 𝓢𝓲𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓽𝓮𝓪𝓶 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓼 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝔀𝓸 𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻𝓼, 𝓱𝓸𝔀 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓻𝓸𝓵𝓮𝓼 𝓭𝓲𝓿𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓭 𝓾𝓹 𝓫𝓮𝓽𝔀𝓮𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓫𝓸𝓽𝓱 𝓸𝓯 𝔂𝓸𝓾?
Vivian: We mostly do everything together. Sairah posts on Saturdays, uploads all our Instagram posts and finds ways to grow our accounts!! I post blog posts on Wednesdays, take photos and do #morningmotivation stories on Instagram. However, we usually do things that happen at the time, so if Sairah’s busy then I will take care of it and vice versa. Working as a team is a highlight of having two owners!
6. 𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓱𝓸𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓸 𝓪𝓬𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓹𝓵𝓲𝓼𝓱 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰?
Sairah: With this blog, we both aim to help spread awareness to important issues. For example, sometimes I focus on writing about issues affecting people worldwide, such as the Black Lives Matter movement. But aside from this, we aim to provide comfort to teenagers and help nurture them into incredible people in the future. We want to provide a safe place for everyone from any religious background, sexuality or race. Our blog is a place where teenagers can just come and seek help for any problems they may be going through. I’d say that our main message is self love and self appreciation.

7. 𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝔀𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓲𝓷 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓼 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰?
The main challenges when starting this blog was finding out what to write and post, particularly when not having a large audience. We weren’t sure what people would want to read. We also wanted to gain followers on our Instagram but that was difficult to begin with, but slowly we started gaining more followers. Another thing would have to be, trying to keep our feed aesthetic. Being a blogger is quite challenging in terms of finding pictures of your own to use on your account and having to go out to take those pictures .
8. 𝓘𝓯 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓻𝓮𝓭𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰 𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓫𝓮𝓰𝓲𝓷𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰, 𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝔀𝓸𝓾𝓵𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓮?
If we had to redo our blog all over again, I think we would change how we organise things. When we started, we made a lot of categories and ended up not writing much about them so I think it’s best to limit what your blog will be about so people know what to expect. Also, I would remember to keep things simple and not over complicate it. And remember not to make everything all about us because people want to read tips and advice to help them . Rather then reading about our life stories constantly.
9. 𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝔀𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓲𝓶𝓹𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓪𝓷𝓽 𝓵𝓲𝓯𝓮 𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓽 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓼𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓾𝓹 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰?
Sairah: One important lesson that we’ve learned is to be patient. Usually I am patient, but this has become more challenging because both Vivian and I know that we may have to wait a long time before our blog gets popular or even noticed by a lot of people and earn more money from it . Another lesson would have to be: always believe in yourself. There’s days when you’re going to doubt if people will want to read your blog, but there’s other days when you’re like, “Yes. I can do this!”. One more thing to remember is, you should never change yourself solely to please others.
10. 𝓐𝓻𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓹𝓵𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓷 𝓹𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓾𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰𝓰𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓪𝓼 𝓪 𝓯𝓾𝓵𝓵-𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮 𝓳𝓸𝓫 𝓸𝓻 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝔂 𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓬𝓪𝓻𝓮𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓱𝓪𝓭 𝓲𝓷 𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓭?
Sairah: Honestly I would love to do blogging full time but, I’d have to be earning a lot of money from it to help sustain A life for myself. However, I also aim to excel in the field of psychology. I’ve always been interested in how the mind works and why humans are the way they are, so hopefully I can pursue a career in child psychology. I also want to take over my dad’s martial arts business and as a black belt kick- boxer, I’m also learning to become an instructor. On the other hand, Vivian aims to start a YouTube channel and even hopes to perform on stage. She’s always been more outgoing than I am. She has a lot of interests!! She’s even considering becoming a lawyer which would be incredible.
11. 𝓐𝓷𝓭 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓵𝔂, 𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓪𝓭𝓿𝓲𝓬𝓮 𝔀𝓸𝓾𝓵𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝔀𝓱𝓸 𝓲𝓼 𝓬𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓪 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓰 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮?
The main advice we would give to someone who is just starting a blog is to always be patient, because its such a virtue!! Your account will grow overtime! And there’s no need to worry about not having traffic or barely having any likes. And remember, always reach out to fellow bloggers. Don’t be afraid to message them. And, be willing to collaborate because, that’s the only way that your account will be noticed and allow you to grow much faster.
Be sure to follow their blog! They release amazing content, touching upon many relevant topics and they’re one of the nicest bloggers we’ve come across! Find the links below to their blog and Instagram <3:
