Imagine this: you’re the hunter, on the search for a prey (which in this case would be a hobby). What role you give quarantine in this story is entirely up to you – you could look at it as a barrier or a shield, constricting your ability to feed off your hunger, or you could look at it as your portal to giving even more access to catch your prey.

Sufficing my Boredom
There are many things and hobbies we can do and learn to keep us busy in no matter what circumstances, we just have to find them and have the determination to do them.
Creating Character
Don’t let quarantine stop you from having fun. Learn a new language, bake cookies, draw. The sky is the limit. Well actually, your roof for now, but don’t let that stop you.
Intricate Circus Act
Is it only me, or does it feel like you’re trying to find a million things to do during quarantine, but it ends up with you engaging in odd but senseless hobbies, making your family around you assume that you have gone mad during the lock-down, and are practically hopeless?
Subsistent Feelings
Due to the 14 day self-isolation, the most searched question was “How do I stay safe from Coronavirus?”. With a quick turn of events the question above has slowly been changed to “How do I stay positive and calm during Quarantine?”
Indulge in Growth
Growth is important. But the real question is, just how much you’ve grown to learn from it – as an individual, as a community. The circumstances set for our growth may not always be pleasant – then again, when does an easy road ever lead to the best destination?
Uncertain
A two week break from school had turned into a never-ending quarantine. Once this realisation set in, it turned hectic. All of us were confused on what to do, with many of us never being in situations like this ever before. It seemed like everything just lost its meaning.
The uncovered truth that lies beneath the word ‘boredom’
We all need to remember the importance of living our life to the fullest when we have the chance, because when all the things we love are taken away from us, we express our helplessness in ways that aren’t good for us, being on our devices all day, to eating food excessively, to fighting all day with your family.
Positivity in a time of despair
In this dark time, we shouldn’t let our life be dictated by such depressing thoughts, they will only hold us back from truly finding happiness. We don’t know what the future holds, so take everything in stride and cherish each day as if it were the last.
